EAT in progress/So sue me!

This blog was briefly suspended while the EAT rules on issues surrounding the 1985 agreement whose lack of resolution prompted its appearance

Practically all of the remaining postings are now on

So sue me

If I find any more, I will post them as well.

In the meantime, a leading american academic association has endorsed the blog as falling well within standard definitions of academic freedom, so it will proceed as before.

Please note that no-one is called a "Nazi" at any point. Criminals, yes; but that is because the USA has strong anti-fraud legislation, and fraud on the part of DCU management is easy to prove in a US court based on the documents we obtained under Freedom of Information. DCU's lawyers (Arthur Cox)have an office in the US, and have made no attempt to get any of the allegations here removed. It is very likely that their lawyering might not look as impressive here in the US as it does in Ireland. There they have recently been allowed draft the E60-90 billion NAMA legislation transferring bank debt to the taxpayer while, in a clear conflict of interest, continuing to represent one of the banks involved.

In fact, the only activity resembling libel action has been a successful one which I had to act against comments made against me by DCU's president, which were removed from the web. It is by no means impossible that this is the first of many such legal actions against him
